From afar, these elegant earrings look like classic jewelry. But up close, you'll see that the smooth, black spinel is crowned by a detailed silver skull. The stone and skull are connected so they can move freely.

I handcraft each pair for you in my Leipzig goldsmith workshop. The ear hooks are firmly soldered to the skull, gracefully bent, and individually forged for added tension and durability.

  • To remove heavy dirt, use warm water with dish soap and a soft toothbrush.
  • Remove tarnish with a silver polishing cloth to restore your jewelry's shine.

  • 925 silver contains 7.5% copper as an alloy component. In rare cases, the copper in the jewelry can react with sulfurous sweat from the person wearing it. This is a harmless, temporary skin discoloration in the area of contact. This stops as soon as the copper contained in the alloy is dissolved on the surface. In rare cases, people are allergic to copper and therefore cannot tolerate jewelry made of 925 silver.
